Covid-19

How do I know if I can travel to a destination or not?

All our winter holidays until 22nd March 2021 are quarantine-free, so you’re only choosing from places where you don’t have to self-isolate when you get back to the UK. If you want to book a holiday in advance, we’re also taking bookings for summer 2021. While we can’t guarantee that your chosen destination will be quarantine free by the time you’re due to depart, you can choose make your holiday quarantine proof, which allows you to amend the date or destination of your booking, or get refund on your flight, transfer and hotel. No matter where you choose to go, we’re constantly monitoring guidance from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and will contact you if travel restrictions affect your holiday.

How do I know if I can travel to a destination or not?

Amendments, cancellations and refunds depend on your service provider and what type of holiday you’ve booked. Here’s what will happen in the event that the UK government removes your holiday destination from the list of travel corridor destinations or if the UK goes into a nationwide lockdown.

For non-refundable rooms:

  • Unfortunately, we won’t be able to get you a refund on the room. But we might be able to change it to a different date, in which case we’d charge a £25 amendment fee.
  • Unless the airline cancels the flight, we won’t be able to get you a refund on it. Amendments and cancellations policies will vary depending on the airline.
  • If you’ve booked with EasyJet, you can make one amendment free of administration charges, which means you can push the date back at no extra cost from us or Easyjet. However, you will need to pay the difference if your new flight is more expensive.

For refundable rooms:

  • We can get you a refund on your room so long as it’s requested before the cut-off date, which will vary depending on the hotel you’ve booked.
  • If you wish to amend your hotel booking after the cut-off date, we might be able to change your check-in date, in which case we’d charge a £25 amendment fee.
  • Unless the airline cancels the flight, we won’t be able to get you a refund on it. Amendments and cancellations policies will vary depending on the airline.
  • If you’ve booked with EasyJet, you can make one free amendment free of charge, which means you can push the date back at no extra cost from us or Easyjet. However, you will need to pay the difference if your new flight is more expensive.
  • Travel restrictions permitting, you may still be able to go on your holiday, so long as you follow self-isolation guidelines on return.

For quarantine-proofed holidays:

  • We’ll give you a full refund on your flight, room and transfer. You will not be charged any administration charges by us or your airline.
  • Your refund request must be made within 2 weeks before you’re due to depart.
  • Once you’ve asked for your refund, you’ll get your money back within 14 days.
  • We won’t be able to refund you the fee for quarantine-proofing your holiday.
What do I need to do on my return from holiday?

Anyone aged over 18 must complete a Public Health Passenger Locator form, which you can find here. The form will need to be completed for all members of your party before you arrive back to the UK, no earlier than 48 hours before you return.
